CHICKEN WINGS (Servings: 12)
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup tomato ketchup
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp thyme
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
½ tsp basil
2 ¼ lbs chicken wings
Blend together brown sugar, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce with the herbs and spices. Separate a small amount of sauce out for brushing on chicken during baking. Wash and cut the ends off the wings. Pat dry with a paper towel and place on a baking tray. Brush with sauce and bake at 400 ° F for 30 minutes. Turn the wings over and bake for 10 more minutes, brushing again. Discard any left over sauce that was used for brushing. Serve with the remaining sauce.
